What's it all about?

Purity Pool was the first to design a scoop/rake combination with a unique and efficient shape. We were the first to bevel the leading edge providing a quicker and easier scoop action (pushing) as well as the old-style rake action (pulling). This double action, plus the unique shape and design, cuts time and work to less than half. It was in 1971 that the Ultra-Lite was introduced. It has been copied by many, but the quality and efficiency never equaled. It remains the industry standard.

Throughout the years of many trade shows, there were many requests for a scoop that would take heavy abuse without bending or breaking, but still be lightweight. It would also have a large deep bag to hold in the maximum manageable load.

In early 1989 the Pro-Lite Series, a tougher, thicker, longer-lasting version of the popular Ultra-Lite was introduced. It was immediately well-received. It comes in three different varieties to best suit your needs. See ReNew Kits for a complete description of net types.
